None of the equipment or beds were there so it was just walking through a cave with rooms. Only lasted 10 minutes. Tour guide spoke good English. Just wasn't that fascinating without the furniture setting the scene. Would skip.

This is a great attraction to visit if you decided to rent a bike and tour the island a little. It isn't in it's original state but gives you an idea what it may of been like when bombs were dropping on Cat Ba. It would be a nice stop off before continuing your bike ride around the island, it... More

We hired a scooter and drove up here to see the cave, you buy a ticket across the road, cost is VD 40000, you go up stairs and then the guy at the top takes your ticket and gives you a bit of history about the cave, they offer to give you a guide to go through but we didn't... More

The idea of building a hospital in a cave is interesting, but after you pay 40k vnd which is same as national park entrance, you find that there is actually not much to see except few empty rooms and empty area in cave. Place could be much better if management adds some creative ideas like soldiers waxed body or building... More

This cave was used as a bomb shelter during the Vietnam-usa war. It is interesting to see how it was built, the guide will give short explanations

We took a local guide and visited the cave! It is really interesting if you have a guide. Otherwise, it could be a little bit boring because there are no puppets in the rooms. But in total: it's worth it!

It might have been astonishing back in the times of war, however now you'll have a 15min "tour" and that's it. I don't want to blame the tour guide and maybe we were out of luck but we saw lots of empty rooms which were supposed to have different functions. More than: "this was the doctors office...this was security checking...this... More

You park up and walk in, first having paid your entrance fee of $2. At the cave entrance a young man greets you and then describes how this cave was used during the American War to treat soldiers and to harbour the local community during air raids. In the front part of the cave that has daylight, mannequins lie on... More

We loved this amazing sight! It didn't take us very long to have a look which was good too. You basically walk in one side where they insist on being your guide and take photos of you but we brushed them off and continued through without a guide because we didn't want to pay any more money. It is so... More
