....it's free to the public....and realizing that with no revenue from us, they're providing AC in every separate room with countless wall units, some automatic lighting, etc makes me more impressed with this place. All in all, it's a lot of small buildings. You open the doors to each one and see a recreation of how things looked "a long... More

The site exceeded our expectations. It gives the visitors true colour and picture of a traditional Emarati village. We enjoyed our day-trip more than we ever expected.

In the original Hatta Fort, and giving an insight into what life used to be like in up-country Dubai, on what is a long-established communication route through the Hajar Mountains. It's worth a visit because there's not much of original Dubai left to see.

After Hatta Dam, we have visited the Heritage Village, it's just nearby. The visit was not more than half an hour. It was pretty hot outside, but every of the recreated rooms we visited had air conditioning. Easy to get around, although I didn't see any staff or informational materials to get.

An interesting place to visit for an hour but I would not go twice, nor would I make a special trip there. The displays need to be maintained and there is nothing interactive.

Went to visit Hatta with 2 of my friends and we walked around the village for a little while. Despite the weather being extremely hot, we had a really great time! The village is pretty compact so it's easy to get around, and really provides a lot of information and visuals as to what life was like in the old... More
