The amar kutir shop is a worthy place to hang on.I bought some garments which were of very good quality and a nominal value.Nothing is overpriced here. The staff here are very much trained and treat customers with courtesy. For 1thing you buy they display 1000 options. The amar kutir hesel ghar was an add on.Authentic bengali cuisine served and people are fed on kansa plates and with love. The people who serve ask you repeatedly if you need anything.Overall a complete one destination stop.

It's a complex where West Bengal tourism "Rangabitan" also there. It has live kitchen within "Amar Kutir".... called "Amar Kutir Hesel Ghar". Veg plate 130 INR which serves unlimited Rice Ghee Daal Sukto Veg Curry Papad Chutney and Payed .Other items are as I given in the picture. All plates .. Glass ...jug are Brass metal ....it gives pretty nice ambience. Food Quality is above average but overall you will like it with ambience ... people ..setup. It's just beside Kopai River ....and live Baul all the time gives a pretty good view .

Over 1000 regional handicraft items for apartment therapy -- dokra animals, katha-stitch bedspreads, coasters. I'd buy them all if money & space are no constraints.

Better to explore the stuffs in local market. Quality is at par with the local Shantiniketan market but priced high. If looking for quality go and visit Karukrit Shop near Lodge More.
