Short walk from Grassington village lovely views along the way fields and the stone walls. Was muddy the day we visited so would advise walking boots. Loved the falls and the sound of the rushing water.

Pretty spectacular. When you think of the UK, this very scene is what comes to mind: well-worn paths formed by crude stone walls, vagabond sheep, rolling green fields as far as the eye can see, a bubbling brook, perhaps. We spent our first full day in England here and were not disappointed. It was peaceful and perfect in every way imaginable. Plenty of hikers, families, and friends enjoying the country setting alike. Definitely would return.

Great 'rapids!', not a long walk but exciting to see. And, especially if the canoeists are there 👍
Bonus, toilets available 😊😊

With all the rain, the Linton Falls were in full swell and well worth the visit.
Only a 5-10 minutes walk from Grassington, easy going.

A very pretty place, luckily when we visited it was very quiet and we could experience the falls at our own pace, on a sunny day it would be a great place for a picnic. There are loose sheep so keep dogs on a lead.

What a lovely walk along the riverbank. Lovely tranquil walk along the banks of a fast flowing river. Not safe for paddling.

This is my favourite place in the world. I have been going here since I was a small child. It is an easy walk through the graveyard to the stepping stones. This is a place that instantly unlocks fond memories for me. My dad used the holy water at the church on my brother and I when we were small and christened us himself. It is a place I love going back to each year. I hope to one day get married hear in this beautiful spot. Until then I will keep visiting and creating new memories while cherishing the old ones.

If you’re visiting Grassington, it’s well worth the small detour past the ‘falls’, effectively an overflowing weir.
The car park was large but busy and the area is pretty.
They falls are not worth going out of your way to see though.

We walked from the car park down to the bridge overlooking the falls, lovely. We then did the river walk and back up the road to the village.

Lovely spot for a picnic and a splash in the water. The car park was full so we parked up the hill so can't comment on price. There were toilets and ice cream available.
