Certainly worth a visit to see a living thing that has been around for more than 3 thousand years. Other than that, there is nothing else to offer. But this place is not far the city centre, therefore dose not take much time to get there

Now most travellers are entering Tibet via Lhasa by air or train at 3800m, my travel advisor nancy from tibet travel suggested to land in Nyingchi, from Chengdu at 2200m, its on the eastern province, China has built a brand new airport ,cost of 2 billion$ My wife and me were the only western travellar on the airbus320, the air... Huge cypress trees cover an area of 10 hectares on a mountain slope 3,040m above sea level. The largest cypress is famed as 'the Best of Chinese Cypress' with the height of 52m and trunk diameter of 5.8m. It is over 2,600 years old now and is named as King of the World's Cypress. Although the trees were old and big, the scenery was average comparing to the other sights in nyingchi county. Just a lot of the same type of tree.
