The place has a great value in Hindu Mythology. Lord Vishnu's footprint is still visible on a stone which is worshiped by millions of devotees along the year.

I feel very relaxed from mind after visiting Vishnupad Temple.The evening Maha Aarti,darshan of original footprints,the architecture of the temple,the chanting of mantras n rush of people truly attracts me.Yes,you should be aware not to fall in traps of local pandits to offer pind Daan.

We are in Gaya for Pind Daan. There you have to do pind daan in three places - first one on the bank of Falgu river and second one in Vishnupad Temple.

kindly approach bharat sevashram directly. take an auto outside the station and go to their ashram directly. they will arrange everything and also have fooding lodging
