We loved driving around Tenerife during our recent holiday. The diversity of climate, scenery and plant life is remarkable for such a small island. One of the best destinations for a drive is Taganana. At the end of a dramatic mountain crossing - it drops down to the north coast with spectacular scenery. Visit Playa de San Roque for lunch.

This and Masca Valley are the most beautiful locations on the island. Absolutely stunning views that seem unreal; as if they could only exist in a movie. Pictures and words don't do it justice. The drive is easier than Masca Valley but still has lots of nail-biting twists and turns. We had a rental car and just drove through the... More

Oh my. I fell in love with the place. Amazing scenery. The sea. The mountains. The village. The sound of the water streaming from the mountain. And we found there an amazing restaurant!!!

this was a lovely day out, the views are breathtaking and it is so nice to go to the older parts of the island and get a feel for how they live, worth the long journey, the hills are stunning.

I've been here a couple of times, and here is where I'll take my friends for dinner. And we will be eating fish here. The fish is fresh and the food is worth the price.
