We visited this place late morning on a weekday. Be warned, it is closed on Mondays. You can park in the road outside.
The guided tour costs a nominal amount and is helpful.
Most of the work is by Mr Nemiranda but work by other artists is included mainly at the front of the gallery.
The Nemiranda pieces vary from quirky painted wooden carvings to large canvas paintings. His work is outstanding although some of the pieces on display looked as if they had been hanging there for some time with little protection from passers by.
His nude studies were not his best work and some were perhaps unfeasibly voluptuous!
There is a small cafe section, but we did not use it.

The place is like a house converted into an art gallery. It has all sorts of art types - will start with colorful, fiesta-like wooden sculptures, then paintings, to religious artworks upstairs. Entrance is free if you eat at their resto - good for a quick snack. I found the place a bit dingy and dirty, plus there's not enough parking space.

We visited the place on a weekday so there are only few visitors. We did not take any guide with us since it is small. We are lucky to also see the recent works of Nemiranda about the war in Marawi City. Though the museum is small there are different galleries showcasing different themes. Most paintings depicts the everyday lives of the Filipinos and their beliefs and customs. Aside from the paintings there are also sculptures and a Higantes.
I love also the floor tiles in the second floor as it is created as a mosaic.
Aside from the museum, Nemiranda also has a restaurant. Though we were not able to dine there, I looked up at the menu and saw the price are not expensive.

You can have a guided tour that's worth the extra money. Lovely artworks of Filipino mythology. We weren't able to eat becuse we were already full from Balaw balaw. Our day trip was: Pasig-Pteroglyphs-Mural street- Balawbalaw-Nemiranda. It was a really good day :)

Experience the good food at an affordable price, friendly staff and arts everywhere even the table and chairs. Their servings are big and the food taste good .The owner is so amazing with his artistic hands and woods carvings are so evident around the restaurant. I am so fascinated with the old sewing machines which were converted into tables. Not a single wood will go to waste. I love the poor man's cross the most, carving is so intricate.

Went their upon recommendation of a friend, a local of Angono and was a former student of mr.Miranda. Beautiful art can be observed from the entrance to the spacious rooms inside. I would say that he is a versatile visual artist that uses various mediums to express his art. The restaurant offered lots of food choices tho we havent tried it yet so we might as well come back and dine one of these days. nothing more to say other than I admire the place

We were lucky to be toured by Sir Miranda himself. Saw a lot of his artworks including his children's works. A must-visit if you are an Art buff and fond of going to art museums. Their paintings are definitely world class.

There weren't much to see when i went there because the museum was undergoing a renovation in preparation for the Higantes festival.
But i did see bits and pieces of murals and installations, sculptures and paintings depicting legends of filipino folklore made by Nemiranda himself.
