You can have a guided tour that's worth the extra money. Lovely artworks of Filipino mythology. We weren't able to eat becuse we were already full from Balaw balaw. Our day trip was: Pasig-Pteroglyphs-Mural street- Balawbalaw-Nemiranda. It was a really good day :)

We visited this place late morning on a weekday. Be warned, it is closed on Mondays. You can park in the road outside. The guided tour costs a nominal amount and is helpful. Most of the work is by Mr Nemiranda but work by other artists is included mainly at the front of the gallery. The Nemiranda pieces vary from quirky painted wooden carvings to large canvas paintings. His work is outstanding although some of the pieces on display looked as if they had been hanging there for some time with little protection from passers by. His nude studies were not his best work and some were perhaps unfeasibly voluptuous! There is a small cafe section, but we did not use it.
