We were passing through from Rome to Tuscany, and we called to see if we can stop in for a tasting. Gabriel answered the phone and welcomed us to come in. It was such a pleasant surprise. The intimate tour and tasting along with a personal chat with Gabriel was priceless! We drank and ate, we bought a few bottle of wines and signed up for his wine club. All of his wine were amazing. Thank you Gabriel!

On a whim, with an hour to kill before dinner, I googled wineries and this gem popped up. I have Irene a quick call and 15 mins later all 12 of us were standing in her beautiful property. She was a brilliant guide and gave us an interesting tour of the vineyards and a brief history of the wines her husband and her produce. We had so much fun at the tasting and there were enough toys to distract the little ones in our party that I can to regret having found it so late in the day and so late in our holiday.
I can only recommend Gabriele Mazzeschi vineyards as a lovely thing to do on a warm Tuscan afternoon.

The wine is divine at Gabrielle’s cantina. The generous charcuterie amplified the experience. Ample pours, and grandfather’s lovely dessert wine that’s been aging for many years was a wonderful ending with biscotti.

We had such a great visit at the Mazzechi vineyard. This family owned operation was a joy to see and the wines are very good. Irene was quite knowledgeable and amazing hostess to our group. We felt like family when she shared the homemade tomato sauce made by Papa Mazzechi. This was one our best tours in Castligion Fiorentino.Thank you to the Mazzechi family for sharing your beautiful vineyard and wines with us.
Hope to see you soon in Texas.

I know Tuscany very well and if there is a must when you go visit, it's the joy of simple yet delicious food and wine. In this lovely family business run by Gabriele and Irene, you can taste a great selection of genuine and high quality products they produce themselves. From wine to oil, to meat and cheeses. It's not that easy to find specialties that have nothing to do with additives and other unhealthy ingredients.Plus, this is a real family business so you get to meet real Italians willing to show you the place and tell you more about how their products are made and what's so special about them.Needless to say.. all this is in the wonderful frame of Tuscan nature.Enjoy your stay!

We had a nice visit with informativ showing of the step by step process of the winemaking. Irene talked in good English and had great hospitality, letting the kids play with her kids toys. We got to taste a good variety of wines and some local cheeses, salami and prosciutto. Afterwards we got the opportunity to buy our favorites. Absolutely to recommend!

The good things: We booked last-minute a day in advance and I called them to get a confirmation, they were communicative and agreed to do the tasting. They have many rooms and machines and all things you taste are really good quality and delicious. It was a very relaxed, family experience that they have going on for 4 generations. We got a tour from the owner himself so he obviously knew everything we asked. We even met him in town after accidentally and he gave us some recommendations for food and real estate agents. We left with 2 wines and an olive oil bottle, yumm. It is quite good value for the price, tour lasted 1h 15m-1h 30m for 2 people

Some things to improve on: The tour guide's English could improve and his presence and preparedness during the tour could use a boost as well. I was also wanting more explanation on the process and more enthusiasm from him, but maybe it was just a particular day.

Excellent tour. Relaxed informative with a fantastic tour guide in Madelenna. Learned lots about wine and Vin Santo and enjoyed the nibbles and tasting.

What a fabulous tour and wine tasting experience. A family owned business producing the most delightful organic wine. We were shown the vineyards and production facility followed by wine and oil tasting with locally produced cheese and meats. We know why they keep the home-produced meats for the tour, they were absolutely gorgeous. Thank you so much, this was such a fantastic experience and we look forward enjoying the wines we bought.
