Steep Walk but the View is Worth it

A very steep climb, 100's of steps, a good way to walk off all the food and San Migual's! Don't forget to take water on the long walk. At the top you are rewarded with a stunning... read more

A very steep climb, 100's of steps, a good way to walk off all the food and San Migual's! Don't forget to take water on the long walk. At the top you are rewarded with a stunning view over the whole of Coron and the neighbouring islands. We were lucky and had the climb and view all to ourselves. Worth... More

This activity is really good if you want to do some exercise after taking good culinary experience in Coron! Time to burn some fats... :) Doing this one is really cool together with friends. The view from the top of the mountain is an absolute breath-taking!

After climbing more than 700 stairs to get to the top, the view is amazing. Don't forget to bring some water. It gets a bit overcrowded at sunset. But I think it is still a good time to go since the weather is cooler and the sunset is beautiful. Advice: bring a towel to sit on the grass to watch... More

It wasn't easy to find the beginning of path (starts next to small cementery if your going from south), but after it it was nice. The wind near the top is so refreshing and views during sunset were awesome. Probably you wont meet anybody during a trip. The path is steep but well maintained (compare to other treks in Phillipines).... More

Excellent daytrip. Ask around from local mopedtaxis and they take you to the beginning of the trail. Uphill trekking, requires some hard work, but some sweat is totally worth the view as you reach the summit. Takes 2h15min to go up and about 3h to get down from a different route.

You have to hike for 2 to 3 hours before you reach the highest peak of Mt. Darala. View from the peak is really amazing! Hiking for hours is really worth it!

There is 3 ways to hike the Mt. Darala/Mt.Dalara. The MABINTANGEN is long way and according to them is the safest path. The BACK of CCFT is a 2 hours hike or less with a rock/wall climbing. The BALISUNGAN, the enchanted way. Don't forget to bring lots of water and extra t-shirt. if you have a knowledge in rock/wall climbing,... More

You will need a guide for this one as the start of the track isnt easy to find. Once on route its a steep assent in places on broken rocky and gravel ground (i.e. you're likely to slip at least once on the way down so gloves might be good to take). We took it easy on the way up... More

We started from mabentangin (100 ps ride by tricycle from coron). Once in the village , Ask the villagers to show you the start of the trail because you won't find it otherwise. It took us 1 hour to climb on a racing pace (we are extremely fit runners). It is hard but worth it. the view is incredible. And... More
