I'm sure to some reviewers, Maquinit Hot Spring is more than average. It may be true. I, however, am not fond of hot springs that's why I just rated it as Average. The view is nice, especially the area closer to the seawater (the mangroves)....More

If you are expecting any amenities here you will be disappointed. Very limited bathroom/changing facilities, which likely will be nearly impossible to take advantage of, and little else other than the parking lot here. So, as long as you are prepared for that you will...More

The hot springs are a great place to relax. Entrance fee is 200 peso and 400 for the trike. It's a great little adventure also to see more of the town.

Nothing special though my husband said he enjoyed his quick dip. Filthy toilets with no running water. Don't know why the Department of Tourism allows establishments such as this to operate under such unacceptable conditions.

Not a bad spring but it lacks the authenticity of other springs around the Philippines. It's also very crowded and next to mangroves so expect bugs and no privacy. For a place making 10s of 1000s of php a day they could have made a...More

Its too sunny all day, so people (and the tour companies) start coming in at 4:30 pm. There are two pools: the small ones take in the water directly from the hot spring (read hotter) and the larger pool where everyone stays. There is a...More
