Last March 2023, We have a vacation with My fiancee in Coron Island. Our vacation was spoiled due to food poising we was there for 5 days but four days we are in bed suffering for nausea, vomiting, fever and stomach pain till we come back to UAE.
I advise if you go to Coron do not eat food outside always eat in the hotel.

The stairs is a climb to reach to get those famous shot for the gram. Beware, get your leg day on. However, it is worth it. The lagoon is soooo beautiful and breathtaking. I will mos def come back here.

There are companies in Coron who will take you for a day of sight seeing to many lakes and lagoons. If you have a free day don't miss this. You don't need to actually snorkel, swimming in the crystal clear water is just as good. They will tell you a floating divice is a must but that's to protect anyone who can't swim or snorkel well, but they won't take chances. It's the law. I loved our day, it was magic. Dianne.

We really liked the bay. Stayed five days. Has a lot of character. Always a trike passing to get you up the hill.

My husband and I are traveling arround the world. We decided to take longer vacations on Philippines, more precise on Palawan, since is the most touristic island.
What a mistake. Beside warm weather, there is nothing. Only a few sand beaches, no chairs, no restaurants, no shade, no shower...
Beaches near Puerto princesa don't deserve name beach.
Don't know what to do here. Not even a decent restaurant.

The climb is worth it, especially on a hot sunny day, the view is beautiful. The lime stone mountains and blue hues from the water makes a good combination.
Up - 170 steps..... down - 200 steps.... u reach the mystical 'Kayangan Lake'
The boatmen will pass you a card upon entry to the steps that leads to the lake. If you book a tour, all entrance fees are included. If you hire a private boat make sure you ask them are the entrance fee inclusive (just to make sure).
Spend time climbing the stairs, is relatively easy. I saw many elderly made their way all the way up (slow and steady). For younger people and fit individuals, i guess they can do it 5 mins.

If available, take jamalia ferry to and from el nido. It’s a brand new ship. Coron town is much friendlier and laid back than el nido. No drunks or party animals. The locals are much friendlier too. There’s no beach/swimming in Coron town. It’s all a port. Must take a ferry to a beach. We did 2 days of island hopping. Nice but not spectacular. Lots of boats crowded in islands and bays. Beautiful islands. Very disappointed in coral conditions. It’s all bleached and dead and very sparse. Very few fish. For a tourist limited to time and destinations; much better in the visayas.

There are many companies in town that are generally the same price.
I was there in Jan 2018 for a standup paddle tour for 4 days and we went to all the visitors stops. We took a boat to a point and then paddled between islands. The boat also prepped our lunch. We would also snorkel when we saw something interesting or if we were too hot.
The company I used was Central SUP tours and I had a blast

Come posso raggiungere Coron da El Nido? Il trasporto è semplice? Quanto tempo ci impiega?

Where can you rent the kayaks from and can you hire one person kayaks instead of ones that seat two people???

there are a lot of tour guides in coron that can help you regarding your question about kayaks. I personally did not try that. I apologize. I'm not actually sure if they will allow kayak in some areas because some of it are good for snorkeling only.
