A pride of Coron, a pride of Palawan, a pride of Philippines! This lake is a must go place when you visit Coron, Palawan. It's crystal clear, blue and torquise water amazes everyone. You need to trek for about 10-15 minutes to reach the lake. And on the halfway of the trek, you can see the view of blue lagoon,... More

We went snorkeling in this area and the waters are not too deep so you can see a lot at the bottom. It takes a bit of effort to swim around as there are not many places to rest.

After a steep climb you are greeted with an amazing view at the top. You then climb down again to the lake which is surrounded by steep rocks. The water is so clear you can see right down to the bottom of the lake. Amazing experience.

I booked a tour from Calamian Travel and Tours and they did not disappoint. Kayangan Lake was definitely one of the highlights of my Coron Tour. Make sure to bring an action cam for a photo or two to show your family but leave it right away after and just take it all in.

You shouldn't miss this if you are going to Coron! But prepare your legs for a bit of hiking before you go. You'll need to climb up about 150 steps up then another 150 (or so they say, we lost count!) down. But once you get there, you'll see it was worth it! Not for seniors with weak knees anymore,... This Kayangan Lake is really stunning! Don't miss to visit this place. We had so much fun together with our Tour Guide was Chris and Chino from JY Travel. They are really amazing tour guides!

We took a boat tour of the islands in Coron and it included Kayangan for an extra P300/pax. We were provided with life jackets but we had to pay extra for the snorkels of P150/pc. Lunch is included with the tour. We were provided with 1 bottle of water 500ml, platter of rice, grilled fish, grilled liempo and garden salad.... More

We went in January 2016. It's a bit of a hike up the narrow steps, but once you reach the lake it's amazing. Bring a camera for a postcard like view!

Beautiful lake surrounded by lovely scenery. The outside temperature was 35 Celsius when we went so it was great to get in the water after the hike to get there. To get to the lake from the boat mooring you have a steep upward climb followed by a steep downward climb. At the top of the climb lots of mosquitoes... More

This is one of the top attractions in Coron and is usually combined with 3 or 4 other stops. I recommend conserving your energy on the snorkel stops as the trek up the steps to the viewing area can be exhausting in the heat, bring plenty of off and you will be fine. The water of the lake was refreshing... More
