If you're handy with a snorkel it's an amazing place, lots of little needle fish and snails to look. Kayangan Lake's crystal clear water is very inviting. We had an amazing time here.

Yes the lake nestled in the interior of the island was beautiful and clean. Was great to swim out and actually see the lake bottom as you went. However, this can only be visited by tours.. you are part of an assembly line of tourists visiting the lake for their 30 minute slot. All of Coron's activities are like this..... More

Kayangan Lake is more than the word beautiful. The views are breathtaking. I enjoyed taking pictures and swimming on its clear, green and unsalty water with the magnificent view around me. I cant wait to come back to Coron again. Its a place you can fall inlove over and over again.

JY travel and tours: Very unprofessional! My money was lost during our island tour, particularly at Kayangan lake. I know to some, 2000 is a small amount.. The thing that made me hate this agency is the worst customer service I experienced. The crew on our boat was cooperative enough to go under investigation, but the woman who is the owner... More

Most of the water is freshwater and its very clear. There are no corals, just some fish and rocks but the place is nice anyway.

This place is also fondly called the Barracuda lake, as a large lone barracuda can sometimes be seen swimming in the shallows. The top layer of water is fresh water and cool, this is followed by sea water after a few meters, then a really hot layer of water heated by the volcanic activity. A unique dive!
