Unique Hands- on, learning by doing, listening & seeing. Gain understanding of WHY & HOW Israel defends itself. Well organized. Impressive.

This was a lot of fun and a very interesting insight into the IDF. I wanna give a shout-out to Or, who was not only a great instructor but also gave me a lift back to the bus stop (oh yeah, be prepared, this place isn't easy to get to without a car). To da, my man!

Emotional. Touching. Scary. The analysis of a potential emergency situation given by professionals. Close to real life. Dogs!!!!

My husband went for his once in 3 years gun license renewal. There was a problem with the gun clip and they have been giving us advice on replacing it. Although it has not yet been solved, they are keeping the gun in their depository without charge when normally there is a monthly charge. Hope to give another review when the problem is solved.

Went with my family for the shooting experience. The staff was EXCELLENT, guiding us through the basics of shooting. There was good focus on safety, which is obviously important. A GREAT TIME was had by all, beating all of our expectations on what we saw and experienced. Was a FUN PACKED two hours - strongly recommend.
Special thanks to Yossi, who was a great, fun, instructor who was very professional, funny, and lively.

The instructors were highly professional and so gracious and pleasant. The experience itself was amazing and both my son and I enjoyed it immensely.

Loved it! The place, the team, the learnings, ....really amazing and unique experience. Also helped us better understand what Israel goes thru every day to protect the country, etc. Really unique experience and highly recommended.

Although slightly touristy, we all thoroughly enjoyed this. Got to shoot real machine guns ( and the kids paint balls). Very expensive, but I feel you should do it at least once! Worth it to see my mild mannered husband with a gun!

I see that this question was asked and answered but it was over 1 year ago. What is the approximate cost for a taxi from Jerusalem each way today and can a return taxi be arranged in advance for the trip back to Jerusalem? Thanks.

Hello TripAdvisor, do you know that the Calibre 3 centre is inside an illegal Israeli settlement that was built on stolen Palestinian land? What are you doing about it?

Hi! What is the recommended way to get here from Jerusalem? For taxi rates, any idea whats the estimated charges like?

Caliber 3 is right outside the city of Efrat. You can get a taxi to go there from any city. I use a service called Zion. He is very reliable

I am planning to visit in February 2018. Just 2 of us from Asia- my Mother n I. Was wondering if we sign up for a 2-person shooting experience if we will be paired with other groups? Not sure if it’s a good idea to go in February when the weather is generally much cooler

You will be part of a larger group for the shooting experience but the groups aren't that large. When we visited there were around 8 other people there but it was fantastic and so I'd highly recommend you go for it. The tutors are super and very professional, you will have a great ime.
As for visiting Israel in February, one of our earlier trips was in December and the weather was beautiful so it varies. Just take some different option clothes.
Enjoy and your visit will be unforgettable!!

We are staying rib Tel Aviv and have our own car
How long does it take to get there
Do you need special security (private driver) or can you drive yourself
Thanks

Yes. You can definitely drive yourself. Gush Etzion industrial park is about 45 minutes south of Jerusalem on highway 60. You dont need any special driver. Depending on traffic Tel Aviv to Jerusalem takes about 90 minutes to 2 hours. Of course call ahead to reserve a space in a class. The class takes about 2 hours. Limited cell phone service at Caliber 3.

Hi, really hoping to do a course with Caliber 3 in the near future. Can anyone share information about how to get to the location from Jerusalem? We are happy to rent a car and drive but not clear on the potential ?border crossing? or safety issues. Any advice or thoughts would be welcomed. Thank you.
