Wow, the fresh food at this enormous market is sensational. I haven't seen such choice at any market in Australia. There are also hundreds of clothes, shoes, trinket, jewellry and lingerie stalls. The Flacq Market is busy but fun. Beautiful colours and materials. Wonderful experience.

An excursion here was organised by the Radisson Blu for us and it gives you an amazing insight into the real Mauritius. Colours are amazing, clothing is at very good prices and the people are friendly and helpful

I really enjoyed a trip to this market it was held on Wednesday and Sunday and we caught the local bus outside our hotel for 30 rupees each. It was full of so much culture great smells from all the fresh fruit and veg..souvenirs..clothing...food..drink everything....More
