Fantastic tour and tasting, worth the visit! ✨ you rock Tim! 🥃
Lagg distillery is a brilliant visit if on the Isle of Arran! From the modern building with its beautiful views, to the fabby gift shop and cafe, and the fantastic tours and tastings you can do! Myself and my partner were on our honeymoon and we had a tour from Tim and he was brilliant! Loved the tour and getting to walk around the distillery and hear all about the making process. Getting to try a special whiskey that only available on tours was amazing! Tim also got myself and my husband obsessed with Arran Gold as he let us try it as a treat for our wedding and we bought 2 bottles to go home with! Highly recommend, worth the visit and hopefully you get Tim as your tour guide! ✨✨✨

    Explorer Tour and Tasting
Impressive building and great tour. Host was excellent, he made it interesting for novices and whisky buffs, good value for money too. Provided a generous doggy bag for our designated driver.

Well worth a visit - a tour is a must!
After visiting the Lochranza distillery we found out that the Lagg distillery was for those interested in more 'Peaty' Whiskys. Although it is still relatively new with regards to availabilities they still had tours up and running. We opted to go on a tour of the distillery - the guide was highly knowledable not just about Whisky but also the variations between brewing for beer and Whisky. They were albe to answer all our questions and provide an insight into the future developments for the Lagg distillery going forward! Well worth a visit. Being a relatively new build, they have worked hard to incorporate a more natural look for the building to allow it to blend into the landscape.

    Great tour and lovely food
Great informative tour with Fred. Lovely to find out the history as well as the geological significance of the area. The bistro was lovely too. The Arran Gold affogado is stunning and the lady who served us was very friendly. Beautiful views over the sea as well. Highly recommended!

    Excellent tour and great restaurant
We got in touch in advance to let The Lagg Distillery know we’d like to have lunch in their restaurant and had coeliac and dairy free members to our party and the restaurant went above and beyond to accommodate us and gave us great choice. Great views from the upstairs restaurant and a really nice atmosphere. We then went to our tour with Alasdair who was excellent, knowledgeable and interesting, full of great anecdotes and historical details. Our driver got little bottles of the tastings to take home. All the staff were very friendly and attentive, couldn’t fault anything and would definitely recommend it. If you have any dietary restrictions let them know in advance and they’ll look after you.

    Great new distillery on Arran
We had a great tour and tasting in this beautiful new distillery with brand ambassador Sarah. Excellent lunch in the Cafe and a big shop with a lot of whisky, clothing and other souvenirs. A must-go-to on the Isle of Arran.

    Lovely visit
As we had our 11 year old daughter with us we only went to the shop and didn't do the tour. We did hear others in the shop saying how much they had enjoying the tour. The staff were very friendly and the shop had lots of lovely treats and gifts. Would definitely recommend the Lagg distillery.

Tour & Tasting! Not to be missed!
Incredible setting to enjoy some great single malt. Lagg is of course a new distillery, but the whisky is very enjoyable! Alastair was a fantastic guide on our tour and tasting. His enthusiasm for the Lagg production is infectious and he took great care to answer any questions. The balcony at the bar is a great place to relax and enjoy a further dram or a hot beverage. We will be back!

Booked on a tasting class last week. Our guide Sarah was very friendly and informative. Her knowlege and warm nature made for a great experience. Credit to the company. I've been on tasting classes before but this one was in a class of its own.

Did the standard tour and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. It’s an impressive building that fits in well to the location. The lassie doing the tour was excellent, as was the rest of the staff, and the wee dram at the end went down very well. Got a chance to taste a few others at a counter in the foyer, result of which - a few bottles purchased. It’s good stuff already and will get even better I’m sure.
Had a snack in the cafe which was reasonably priced and good quality.
One minor (constructive) criticism - maybe just a personal taste thing but I felt that the cafe area was a bit stark and canteen like and slightly detracted from the feel of the place IMHO. No big deal though - it’s all about the whisky.

This was our first visit here and we were most impressed. The visitor centre is a large, roomy and beautifully designed modern structure with ample parking.

We didn’t do the distillery tour, but enjoyed browsing in the very nice shop and having coffee in the smart cafe.

Certainly worth a look in if you are passing.

This is the third time I’ve done the tour but first time being able to try the Lagg whisky and the first time we organised a cask visit and were able to see the warehouses and see our own cask. Everyone we met was so nice and very knowledgeable. We visited on the 5th Birthday and. We were the only ones on the tour so we felt like it was a private tour and we got to speak to Fitzy too, he let my dad switch from the feints to the spirit which he really enjoyed and I got to turn the speed of the flow up. Thanks again Lagg x

We visited on a grey day in January and were the only couple on the tour with Alistair, our guide. It was really enjoyable. Alistair was knowledgeable and engaging. The distillery is in a beautiful building in a fantastic area - as a bonus several hares were running around outside. A great way to spend an hour or so. Would highly recommend.

Great tour and tasting session.
Really interesting, you get to see behind the scenes, understand the process and then taste various types of whisky. I am not a big whisky fan but found it really engaging, our guide Carol was very well in formed and all the history behind whisky on Arran and how it is made was fascinating.
Topped off with a lovely cafe and shop - would recommend for a half day out on the beautiful south end of Arran.
