No wonder that Tangkuban Perahu has a great view. Yet, the tickets are quite expensive for me. I rode my motorbike and spent IDR 47000 in the entrance only. When I wanted to visit Kawah Domas, one of the craters, I had to pay for...More

Whilst the appeal of Uber is strong, the distance plus non urban location will make return near impossible by Uber. Rent a taxi for the day; doesn't set you back by a large amount, but gives you certainty of a 2way ride... More

Unfortunately, There's no hotel near Tangkuban Perahu. You can find a hotel in Bandung, because Tangkuban Perahu is not in central of Bandung city. as my experience. Thanks. Just for tips : Use private car to easy go here.

We hired a private driver and he drove us all the way to the top. Otherwise at the base, there are mini-vans that you can take. They will wait to gather 15 pax and then depart. I forgot how much they charge per person though.
