It is mostly well marked, and a nice length walk and dogs are allowed which was great. Generally though, it is rundown, and overgrown with invasive species. There obviously used to be information markers, but most are broken and missing. The path was blocked by fallen trees in a few places. One of the bird hides is lovely, the other is so overgrown, you can't see anything out of it.

This is a well sign posted walk and is lovely to see the different flora. Dogs are allowed on a lead which is a bonus.

Nothing too spectacular. Nice walk, lots of different trees and bushes, and then ducks and herons in the lagoon. Nice if you have time, definitely not a must.

The Sao Jacinto surroundings are just 100% nature. Very good track, the salt river, the village, and the beach, all amazing.

A bit off the beaten track but worth the hour drive south of Porto. Easily navigable tracks leading to the most amazing sand dunes ever! Free ! Saw about 10 people in 2h. No children. Just bliss !

Chased by wild dogs. We had to go back backwards for almost 1km to avoid being bitten. Pack of 5 large dogs. Apparently it's an old problem that no one wants to solve. Rating 1 because of this.

I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys walking in the middle of nature. It's very difficult to see animals, with the exception of the ducks in the large midwife, but it's worth it. Even though it's a little longer, I think it's justified so you can see the dunes and the large midwife.

Unfortunately we were unable to see the nature reserve: meeting point closed and no indication. We ventured into the park, but the trails were not marked and we decided to give up. Sin

Very good place for observing nature, the dunes and their vegetation with the Atlantic in the background.
The entire route is correctly signposted, but the interpretation center is completely obsolete with an excess of stuffed and old birds. In addition to a total lack of information. In the patio of the interpretation center, four old and dirty cages with parakeets and lovebirds totally out of place. All very much from the last century.
