What a fabulous place on our doorstep. Loved it so did the kids too two of 5yrs and one of 3 great walk. Lots to see and play on. The cakes and teas and juice were yummy we will be back

It is rather rustic, but great snacks, cake and coffee. Lots to do for children. Wellingtons recommended in bad weather. Lots of car parking.

I love Wilderness Wood! Great for kids, dog walkers, meeting friends for coffee or light lunch, and interesting to see the various projects going on. It's a place to go frequently - especially if you like cake!! There are several marked walks of varying lengths...More

I took my six year old grandsons there. It's fun, safe environment for them to explore. We took picnic lunch but there is a cafe on site catering for all.

Dogs are fine, although I think they like them on a lead, at least around the shop/café/car park area, for obvious reasons.
