We live close to but had never had the time to call in, good selection on herbs , very well watered , didn’t go to the cafe, but it had some people in it, lots of herbs to choose from.

This overgrown, unloved centre once may have offered herb lovers inspiration and enjoyment. Sadly, now it appears to be a slightly neglected garden centre. Very disappointing and not worthy of brown sign nor ‘national’ in the title

We visited mid week in June looking for inspiration for our own garden. Given that this is the National herb centre, we expected great things. The website looks good so we travelled for just over an hour to get there. On arrival, the place looks...More

Well worth a visit as the plants are reasonably priced and there are many unusual offerings. There is also a restaurant and a couple of gift shops.

Well behaved dogs are welcome on the site. We ask you to keep them on a lead and not to take them into the shop or Bistro. Outside seating is available in the Bistro and a tether point is available outside the shop. All... More
