Horrible and depressing. Animals should be free. If you are keeping them, at least try and replicate their environment not keep then in tiny cages. Do better or release them to the wild.

Such a bad experience. The animals were so neglected they looked so depressed and stressed. The guide kept rushing us around and making us smile even though we were clearly distraught to see animals treated like this. The cages were tiny and one owl had broken its wing trying to escape, using this as a photo opportunity was very questionable. Would not recommend this place at all, it should be closed down. The butterfly garden was less distressing, but still rather small and full of fake flowers.

Really difficult to describe how bad this was - the cages were so small and the poor old crocodile who had 2 inches of water was probably the worst. Snakes everywhere but all seemed to have given up on life and the butterfly area - jeez. Give your money to charity and stay away……

AVOID!!! DON’T GO THERE AND DON’T SUPPORT THIS!!!
The animals seemed neglected, with no food or water available for them. The cages were incredibly small, restricting their movement and natural behaviour. It's disheartening to see animals in such conditions, and I believe immediate action should be taken to close this place!

I DON’T RECOMMEND THIS PLACE! It's awful for the animals! The cage is so small and there's no water for them. They all looked so stressed, especially the monkeys! I saw one, I don’t know if it’s Maymay or Moymoy, trying to eat the torn tarpaulin that fall from the top of their cage, it’s supposed to be their “roof” during the hot or rainy weather. The sea crocodile’s pool is not even deep, it’s just a flat floor that has little water. The Jesus Christ iguana is so stressed inside its cage that it has a wound in its mouth from trying to escape. One of the male parrots is bald because his wife is stressed that she started plucking his feathers. They just handle butterflies like it’s not fragile. It broke my heart to look at their condition. I hope an environmental group or DENR can look and check the state of the animals there. Our tour guide said that the LGU of Bohol prioritize the conservation of the environment because tourism is their no. 1 income so I hope they will look into this “zoo” and put the animals in a sanctuary where they can roam around an open space like what they did for the tarsiers.

Horrible experience. Wish I did my research before been taken here. Snakes were drugged. Not moving and just in a horrible state literally a blob on the concrete floor. The birds and monkey viewing was horrible. DONT GO HERE STAY ON THE BUS IF YOU ARE DOING A TOUR. 100 Paso each was a rip!!! The croc was just fat and had no where to move. Water was algae. JUST YUCK. Shut it down

This is nothing more than animal cruelty and should very closed down. Monkeys, eagles, pythons even a crocodile locked up in small disgusting cages. Staff not interested in their well being at all.

Stopped here as part of a tour day with chocolate hills ect. Terrible place. The staff have no empathy or compassion for the animals. The monkeys in particular were in such distress and one was even branded as ‘aggressive’ and then was poked and prodded by one of the staff members foot for the tourists to take photos. The other money was ‘double caged’ as it’s aggression was out of hand. The poor monkey was pacing and looked in such distress. There is no space for them, nothing comfortable for them in the cage and frankly the whole place was vile. When I asked how they got the animals, the guide openly admitted they are captured in the wild and bought for tourism. I would love to know who to write to regarding the animal abuse here. No one seemed to care at all, they were more bothered about selling their photos.

Like everyone else, I visited because it was a stop in a pre organised tour. It was a terrible place with poor conditions for the animals. Don't give your money to this place.

We went here today with a view to see the butterfly garden, a stop on our pre-organised tour. The butterfly garden itself was okay, but I was absolutely horrified by what else was there.

There are 4-5 pythons there just for people to take photographs with, such an awful environment for them to be in.

There were a handful of animals otherwise in tiny cages with nothing in them, no enrichment etc. A crocodile lay in a cage in a shallow pool the same size as it’s body. 2 macaque monkeys looked very agitated. There was one bird who had lost most of its feathers. I cannot believe places like these still exist and I hope it’s banned and shut down in the near future.

I will be writing to the tour company to ask them to remove it from their tours. Absolutely disgusting, please avoid.
