Amazing! No people, little to no trash and a wonderfully majestic waterfall at this season. You can walk by the start of it where it comes straight out of the rock and follow it down. Lovely views and a great time. Please note, at this season the road there was pretty mediocre but the tradeoff was an incredibly full waterfall.

amazing view , afqa waterfall average height is around 1200 meters above the sea level. in afqa you can go for a hike or you can simply enjoy the breathtaking view from one of the restaurants that offer the most tasteful Lebanese dishes like kibbi, tabouleh, fatouch salad, local fish, and much more to offer..
you can even buy fresh apples .
if you are visiting Lebanon during august you can swim near afqa waterfalls but be careful the water is freezing :)

The nature and the view of the waterfalls is breathtaking. It’s definitely worthwhile. The way up in the mountain is full of great scenery. Best to go with a private driver to show you around the area. And to drop off and take photos all the way.
You can also go from there to Faraya and mar Charbel church
