I got totally ripped off here, the only place I got scammed when in Tanzania. First, I had a saleswoman attached to me. She was very pressuring and then quietly told me she would give me a big discount if I would give her cash...More

After some bargaining the price was fixed to 657,76 USD, which I agreed on not knowing about anything about fair pricing. At another art gallery the price of a...More

African Galleria has an incredible array of fine African crafts. The selection is second to none. I found the staff very helpful and attentive. The lunch was great, too! I'll definitely be stopping again on my next visit!

Sent artwork back, but the artwork is stuck with UPS because proper paperwork was not provided. They don't return emails and their phone # doesn't work. Don't shop there.More

We are sorry for the inconvenience. UPS generally takes up to seven weeks for you to get your art work. Would we please have your name and number and i can look into this right away. And perhaps the waybill number. Maybe you...More
African Galleria is nice to look at, they have basicly everything, and if it is your first touch to tanzanian handicraft, you might even buy something. Compared to most places, it is extremely expensive, and same stuff can be bought to half price or even...More
Every type of African souvenir you can think of, from small key rings to huge carved lions, but very expensive and not particularly authentic. Why pay over the odds at a megastore, when plenty of smaller traditional stalls dotted around the area help the local...More
