I love the rural feeling. Pound for pound, it offers many things to visit and enjoy from diving, swimming, trekking, and fishing.

Required a QR code-vaccine card and all to enter the island! Really? November 2022? Ferry service ran 3 hours late. Transportation on the island is expensive. 1K-40 minutes by tricycle to get to our resort. Many nicer places to go in the Philippines with out all the "BS"

Very disappointed. We weren’t able to go to Camiguin Island itself actually. We’re about to ride the RoRo but they can only accommodate 1 private vehicle per trip. So, that’s should be on a first-come first-serve basis. We’ve been there since the night before our trip so that we can enter the island as early as possible. We’re certain that we are the first private vehicle who got there. However, we weren’t able to grab the first trip because they prioritized those who are “residents” of Camiguin (even they arrived later than us) or if you know someone who will get you on the earliest trip. We’re very upset because we didn’t know that such thing exists. They said we can enter but on the 3rd trip which is very behind our schedule. We made an effort to be there the night before so that we can have the first trip and that happened to us. We drove 10 hours to get there and that happened to us. We will not complain if they’re being reasonable and gave us a fair treatment. The worse part is they only told us that we will not be able to ride the first trip after we went on the struggles of getting the tickets and completing their various requirements. All the efforts, time and energy were put to nothing because of their ridiculous service.

Visited wife's family and love the Island. Friendly people and places to see. Bought property as her whole family lives there. And she hasn't seen them 30 years. Love the hot springs. Just wish parents would teach their children not to litter and take away from the natural beauty, but a problem all over the Philippines. Gonna retire there away from the population in the mountains.

Don't miss out visiting this beautiful vulcanic Island travelling The Philippines.
Many places to visit and variation: Springs, falls, beaches, little islands, diving, snorkeling etc. Decent restaurants in the Yumbing area with a top quality coffeeshop (Café Pippa).
The sea climate and being an Island, sometimes a nice breeze doesn't make it to humid.

I spent two weeks exploring and it was worth the expenses. The best area to dive and snorkel is Mantigue islet. It was affordable since a six-seater motorized motorboat cost only $12 round trip. But we were only limited to four hours exploring the island. We saw giant clams and schools of big fish just outside the perimeter of the fish sanctuary. I also climbed the less traveled area called Minsuha on barangay San Isidro, Mahinog town. I trekked solo the about 5-km cemented road to the peak. The view there was so exhilarating that you could see the Mantigue island it its full beauty--white sand around, blue and greenish water surrounding it.Another area is the walkway going to the old volcano crate. It features the 14 station of the cross or Via Crucis as Catholics call it. I was with Patrick,a Parisian who walked most part of his adventure. The view could be most enjoyed while going down the trail. From there we went to the ruins of an old fort called Cota Bato, meanting fortress made of stones. It was destroyed when Mt Hibok Hibok blew its top in 1928. The town's old cemetery sunk during the explosion and buried it under the sea. It has a marker as guide for tourists. But you have to dive to see the catacomb. Most of the foreshore area around the island is a haven for snorklers. Most of the areas are declared marine protected area thus snorklers are free see the fish with all the colors of the rainbow. I made my dives off Tupsan Pequeno, Puting Balas , Magting, others.

New resort in Camiguin. Amazing luxury resort. The food at the restaurant is amazing. Perfect hideout place for some much needed serenity and peace. My now new favorite place to get away the hustle and bustle of Manila. Would recommend people who want to relax by the breathtaking view of the sea.

This is an island with a great vibe. Tourist friendly but not overrun, organized but relaxed, and good driving roads for popping around to visit attractions. The locals are friendly and there are some good places to eat- you can find vegetarian food too. Good place to stay for 3-4 nights.

You may try Agohay Beach Resort, it's beach front hotel, though you won't enjoy the beach in there. I all the others since it's a fishing dock....you may look at the photos I shared. There is Paras that most vacationist refer a bit pricey than Agohay you may go directly with their site or try to look at Agoda.
Ciao! Dovrei essere a Camiguin intorno al 20 di gennaio. Vorrei sapere se è un buon periodo per visitare l'isola e se 4 giorni sono sufficienti. Grazie!
Welcome. I'm going to the Island of Camiguin, which is the choice of the internet network, whether there is a market / bazaar on the Island, Regards Michal

Hi. Me & my family are planning to visit Camiguin for a vacation. We’re 8 all in all with 2 oldies (80 yr old). Will it be difficult or safe for them to travel to Camiguin?

Hi! Husband and I are planning to visit Camiguin island and we are bringing our toodlers: 3 and 2 yrs old. I just wonder if we could bring them to white island and mantigue. Is it safe for them to ride the motorized banca? Thanks...

Hi, Good evening! Yes you can take them with you on both islands. Each banca have life jacket which you are required to use while on board. You just pay the banca 450php plus 20php/pax environmental fee. Banca can only accommodate 6 people. You can rent snorkle gears nor life jackets for swimming. Your kids will love it. Have fun!
