I visited it in October 2020 with my family. We walked there from a village Pincães, along a small aqueduct. At first it was easy to walk, but later it was more difficult, a narrow path and big stones. I couldnt manage to get to the waterfall, it was quite dissapointing. My brother did it, he said it was a great waterfall.

Must do in hot days and in summer times. No doubt the short 750 meter wal worth it. And it brings you again the Beaty of nature . Recommended even if you have only few hours. After that enjoy good lunch or dinner at the town. Nice people nice food.

There is just one sign in town telling you where to go and after that nothing. You should basically follow the path and have the last car parking on your right as you just go down a path. My best tip is just to follow the water (there are little mini canals/ drains a bit higher up on the path that) and ask people where to go!

The slim waterfall is gorgeous with a nice pool at the bottom to have a little dip in.

For all the people who will try to find the waterfall without a local guide, be aware there will be no sign to show you the way. Expect to find a few tourists like you trying to find the waterfall without any clue of which direction they should take. I recommend you to find the waterfall on google map first, pin the place, and once you are there to use your Google map as a GPS.

Somewhere we found with only a few locals. We had been camping In the car and went for a swim (as the water was so fresh it was ice cold in the morning)
The water was beautiful though and when we got there there was only us.

There is a good hike to get here and we didn't really know where we were going, there are no signs and you just have to keep walking and following the sound of running water.

We only stayed about an hour but you could definitely stay longer if you bought food and drink with you - and don't forget a towel!!

It really is worth the walk up there!

A waterfall is definitely not to be missed, especially since you can swim in a superb green setting. The path to get there is not difficult, we did it with a 7 year old child, a little advice at the start is not to rely on the GPS on your phone to find the way to get there because it This takes you down a dead end. Instead, follow the signs indicating the departure for the waterfall. Afterwards it's easy, it's straight ahead. And above all, don't forget your swimsuit, it would be such a shame.
