If you want a few days to do nothing at all this is the place to be. One resort and almost nobody speaks English. That is my kind of fun. They have a good swimming pool and the restaurant have a great menu card (in English)and there is a fantastic fish restaurant on the other side of the bay. You can rent motorbikes to explore the surrounding area. Lots of vinyards. You can also make a boat trip to see the coral. Or you can walk in the small village and try to speak with the locals.

But most of all take a good book, one of the chairs next to the pool and do absolutely nothing at all.
Doesn't that sound great?

Swimming in Vinh Hy Bay was the most interesting activity when I went to Phan Rang. I were not only surprise by curved line in the road to the Bay, but also excited by local daily life near the beach.

This is a small fishing village, but worth the visit if you are in the area. Go early in the morning to watch the fishermen coming in and sorting through their catch and follow it with a tour of the morning market. A short drive away is the picturesque Broken Bridge village home to the Cham ethnic group. Nearby is the Nui Chua national park or rock park with absolutely stunning and highly unusual massive rock formations.

Newly opened cocktail bar outside Canh Ranh House. Something refreshing in superb authentic fishermen's village, Vinh Hy, Vietnam.

Great time at Cat Ba and Haylong Bay region
Took CatBa express boat and kayaked for a few hours. Great scenery and very peaceful. The day was very misty and grey although this added to the atmosphere and beauty. Wasn't sure about the kayaking at first and quite scared but staff on board the boat were great and ended up loving every minute of it. Took us to a private bay and then onboard buffet served. Great day.

My group visit Vinh Hy bay by motobite. It's so excited. The landscape on the way ( road 702) we ride is so wonderful. Water is so clear. Food is fresh. Resort is cheap. Especially don't have visitors and very less local traveller. I always remember and love this trip so much. I wanna back again.

In Vinh Hy you can take a glass-bottomed boat to the corals, which are very close to the steep cliffs. Since the water is a little greenish, you can't see much. Corals are corals and the starfish and fish we saw didn't do much to make it worse. For us, the best part was the tour itself. The boat goes very close to the impressive cliffs and you have very nice views of the small beaches of Vinh Hy.
