I am always a bit worried about animal parks as to how the animals are kept but this one looks quite good. Everything is very well kept and the animals have quite some space. It is nicely laid out and you can have a great time there. Worth a visit.

A really well laid-out parks with zones for differing climates. I loved the fact that local birds in some cases mingled with the non-native varieties. There is a tower with wonderful panoramic views of the park and beyond. The birds look to be in good condition as you walk around and make sure you stay for the "spectacle" at the... More

Originally we wanted to go to the Touroparc, but because of its many negative reviews on tripadvisor we decided against it and took 'le parc des oiseaux' as back-up. What a great choice! You will see so much more than just birds (for example kangaroos!) and more importantly, you can really see how well all the animals are taken care... More

We got lost trying to find this park but we persevered and that really was the right desicion. The birds are obviously very well cared for and content and they're in aviaries and enclosures that give them enough space but make them easy enough to see. The highlight though is the afternoon show. We were expecting a few birds of... More

Wonderful show, nice park, wide range of birds, there are several restaurants, it's very well for those who like to watch birds and couples grandparents with (grand)children between 4 and 14 years old, play garden, nice vegetation, you walk around a small lake, there are penguins, kangaroos, colibris, flamingo's, etc.

To reach there , you drive on the Geneva Lyon Autoroute and look for the exit some 120 Kms from Geneva. The tickets cost 18 euros for adults and 15 for juniors . Once inside the first sight is of a flock of flamingoes on a big pond and then the variety of birds just amazes you. They have recreated... More

We were lucky and the park was very quiet. Walk in aviaries are amazing and get close to the birds. The residents look happy and well cared for. The show is amazing. I have never seen the variety of birds flown in this way from macaws to pelicans. Sit top furthest from the entrance and you might feel their feet... More

Can't find the exact place on internet now but we drove past a sign for a campsite that said something about 'Gittes' and we found a small. Amosite with some static caravans a swimming pool and a small field for tents. It absolutely poured with rain so that was the end of that, but the site itself was okay had... More

It's almost 10 years that we have been to the bird park for the first time. We went last year and again this year. A lot has changed since our first visit, but it's definitely worth to go there. The park is really nicely done. Also the show is a big highlight as is the bird feeding. The only critic... More

Park is situated in the middle of a very interesting landscape - this area is called "les Dombes" - which is littered with little lakes and ponds. The birds are presented in huge aviaries well integrated in the landscape. We've been unlucky with our visit because of heavy rains so the show where you can see a lot of the... More
