Sone really stunning pieces in here - there isn't a load of stuffed just rammed in; the pieces are arranged so that they can be properly appreciated . An incredible selection of perfect Roman glass and a chronological layout of exhibits showing the development of...More

We were quite looking forward to our visit to Murano. The museum however was disappointing, with very little glass on show and of the little there was much was cracked and broken! The "special exhibition" of modern glass by a contemporary artist for which we...More

Visited with my family simply as it was included with our musuem pass and it was honestly the best musuem we went to. There is a great range of glass objects on display but its not so big that you loose interest and the layout...More

An interesting collection of glass products spanning many centuries. Some of the older exhibits are particularly fascinating, given the extraordinary craftsmanship. There was also good range of more modern pieces that were quite spectacular. However the museum did little to engage the visitor in terms...More

Visited the place at winter. We had a museum pass so it was a "must do" place. There is no audioguide, info provided on cards. There are some nice showpieces from XVII-XVIII century, but without explanations it looks like another china-made nice glass.

You have to come here, really dont you - the glass centre of the universe. Some of the ancient (Syrian) pieces have to be seen to be believed. Also the very modern pieces.
