交通便利，离广州不远，但广清高速修路，行车缓慢。自然环境很好，大厅设计粗狂原始，当天天气较冷，人不多，是个放松的好去处。入住狮子湖喜来登酒店，有免费电瓶车接送。配套有高尔夫练习场，有驻场教练，视野很好。

新一期的建筑正在装修中，估计年底或明年初应该可以开业。是阿拉伯风格的主题酒店，规模比前期估计大了好几倍。十分期待完工后能再去玩玩。
