Visited Kurima island with friends and saw the observatory so we made a stop. It was the highest point on Kurima facing Miyakojima island, you can also see Irabu if the weather is not too bad. The color of the sea was illusive.

This observatory offers a stunning view of the ocean and the main island of Miyakojima. It is definitely worth going to take a look

Even though it was windy and overcast outside the view was really nice. Could see a lot of coastline and the water was still clear blue. Good place for pictures.

We didn't do much here except climb the staircase and check out the beautiful views. It is incredibly WINDY here...not sure if that was the norm or if it was an unusual day.

The view is certainly nice from up there but not much else to do or see. The main attraction of Kurima island is the beach on the west side and coupled with lunch at PaniPani, it makes for a very nice day !
