Great beach visit later in the day because there is both decent shade in which to sit, and the sunset through the arch can be pretty picturesque. Downsides are that it’s usually really full of people, and the snorkeling is only so-so. Like most of...More

You need to take a short walk to reach the beach. Best to be in sandals or slippers since it’s the beach! Bring food to feed the fishes and they will appear. Great view but beware there may be jellyfish.

Fantastic beach located very close to the city centre. One of the best beaches in Miyako Islands. Really recommend this for everyone!

It's a must see! It's worth every step and every grain of sand. I've made two trips to this beach this trip and is my favorite place so far.

Such a beautiful stretch of beach with turquoise blue water. Great picture spot but not the best sunset spot. A little hike to get in and then out again.

This beach was beautiful. Probably not the best for kids; no nets, coral and strong currents. The beach feels very secluded and has a cool arch. I feel like you can't go wrong with any of the beaches on Miyako they all have crystal clear...More

You must come to explore Miyakojima Island. There are the most beautiful beaches in Okinawa! While in Miyako you have to visit Sunayama Beach! Is a stunning and wonderful beach.. the best! 🤗 Easy access for all family!

It's a small beach after climbing an interesting sand hill (bit steep). This place is paradise for swimming, not to crowded and good waves to enjoy with water temperature a bit colder than Yonaha Mahema Beach.

This beach is really nice. White sand and the sea is crystal clear. Perfect for swimming. Sandy beach so safe for kids to play. There is big hole in the rock wall. When we were there a newly married couple were having their wedding pictures taken...More

One of the more spectacular sights here - beautiful big stone arch on one side & a private beach around the corner from that. White soft silky sand. On low tide, you can walk out 1/4 km - sparkling crystal clear turquoise water.
