The Tuyuti District where is the Salton winery is a few kilometers north of the city on the highway to Veranópolis. Valley go. The highway itself is a delight for those who like to see grapevines. Wine is believe almost closed the doors financially and rose again selling land in Bento city which includes the place where has the concrete barrel at the entrance of the city of Bento Gonçalves. And the new headquarters is very beautiful with decoration that includes even a sundial at the end of the visit. The visit begins in the vineyard pilot where new strains and techniques are tested. After the modern facilities but not relate to grape crops and wine to ancient civilizations and even the Bible. Our guide gave Paloma show of sympathy and technical understanding of the production of juice, wine and sparkling wine. Of course as the visit lasts one hour before I bought a exelente grape juice and was taking during the visit and learning from Paloma. At the end products in the store has wine tasting and sparkling. Some you only get here they are for export of unique strains. The input value is R4 20.00 per person but R $ 10,00 are converted into bonus in products. Now you know how to get my juice during the visit .... A curiosity explained by Paloma is that at the foot of grapevines tradition maintained by Salton is to plant roses. The flower was an attack indicator of ants. They attacked before the flower of the vine, giving time to combat the insect. Custom of the ancient Italian settlers and maintained so far. Unmissable visit.

The construction is young, from 2000, but very nice. Probably the best in the region. It does not offer a restaurant, but there is one close by. Very good ambiance.

The great building that welcomes the visitors doesn´t show the many things that you can do at the same place. Well conservated you can learn about wine, taste and buy it, besides know the history of the family and eat! Visit it and try every activity because worth it.

We arrived without a reservation for a wine tasting. The staff went above and beyond. We are english speaking and they were able to find an english speaking staff who toured us through the winery and offered a tasting of bubbly'so, whites and reds. All were delicious.

Check it out. "Desejo" and "Talento" are the tops. During the peak season, try to stop by early in the morning (around 10:30).
