Small, quaint and very charming museum. Interesting and informative. We particularly liked the shops, cell and "Cinema". You could easily view the museum exhibits in about half an hour, but we took in one of the DVDs in the cinema so our visit lasted longer....More

On Saxmundom high street free entry but appreciate donations friendly volunteer staff open 10am untill 1pm only Pocket history of the area inc a tiny cinema showing the old railway history

Great little museum at the end of the High Street, plenty of parking in adjacent streets or market car park, or even get your car washed opposite whilst you look around. Not open every day so check first but a good view for local history,...More

The hotel the Bell told use about the museum, plus they had an information sheet. Lots to see and local people there to answer questions.

Brilliant display of everything to do with Sax and its surrounding area. Loved the military bits and bobs as well as the shop fronts. Went for 30 minutes and came out nearly two hours later!
