We saw lots of bats, which was the attraction for us. :-) There was more scrambling up and down and slippery rocks than I had expected. Don't be fooled by your guide wearing flip-flops! We brought head torches with us and our guide gave me...More

We visited as a big group (25) varying in ages from 10 to 60+. Whilst it is a fairly flat walk from Bukit Lawang to the cave, it does then involve some climbing and scrabbling around over rocks to get in to the cave. Certainly...More

Take a guide, you will never find it yourself. There are three caves with different bats and blind swallows, nesting on the walls. It is a good warm up for the jungle trip. It was special as there was only us in the caves so...More
