You can see the castle popping through the trees when arriving from Vaxholm. That is quite a sight! The castle is beautifully maintained and is worth the visit.

Wonderful place to hike close to Vaxholm. You can fine fire place and camping rent place. Not far from city! Lots of amazing views.

Quite a treat! A good guide showed us the four floors and the attics. Empty rooms and a strange history through the centuries. Looks neglected, the State has been the owner since the 1940's. A rare and worthwhile peek into an extraordinary house. Recommended.
