A spiritual sojourn
Mar 2021
Visited Kasar Devi temple alone to experience the positive vibes of the place…saw a Lady, daughter of the usual priest, performing Pujas, while his daughters sang beautiful bhajans to the Mother Goddess . The entire temple and surroundings with the breathtaking view of the Himalayas,Almora nestled in the next valley, was a balm to the soul

Incredible

No review can justify the experience. This is a must visit. Absolutely amazing.

There are around 100-150 steps to climb up.

The snow clad himalayas are visible from surrounding areas.

One of the Three Places on EARTH
Dec 2020
The best place for Meditation.
Kasar Devi is one of the only three places on Earth including Machu Picchu in Peru and Stone Henge in England to best the strongest geo-magnetic field which is believed to be the best for meditation.
Swami Vivekanada Ji also visited the place and started his spiritual journey from here.
If you visit Almora, visit Kasar Devi for sure, it's just 13 Km from Almora.
The whole region is covered by Pine forests hence enhancing the beauty of this place.

A majestic place .
Between the hills with a small refreshing climb or say a trek to the heaven.
Founded or say basically enlightened by Swami Vivekanand ji .
You can sit for hours and feel the inner peace and Aura of this holy place .

Aug 2019
Swami Vivekanand, one of the greatest spiritual master once visited this place and was moved to feel that the positivity and calmness that he meditated for years here. It was also recognized by the U.S. space agency N.A.S.A. for its mysterious presence of strong magnetic field lines. When I visited the place, i could feel the sudden calmness of mind and the body. The breath movement was more noticeable then ever. Meditate here for sometime and you can feel the settling of inside yourself. A must visit and feel place for every spiritual, yoga and meditation practice follower.

Heaven of Almora! Trip can't be marked as completed, if a person is visiting Almora but not able to visit Kasar Devi. It's is one of the most beautiful place in Almora. This place scientificly proved high Megnetic field by NASA. It's one of the places where earth's magnetic power can be felt, i.e, it's has a magnetic field around it. Due to this, it is known for a nice meditating place. It's also maintained very nicely. So mark it in your checklist, if you are planning to visit Almora. Two routs has been created from main road to reach temple which are 1/2 Kms away from main road and is 1/2 Kms walk from main road till temple.

We began the walk from Almora Zoo to kasar devi. It was a day well spent. We enjoyed a small picnic and the Trek. There were a lot of monkeys but that was an experience in itself.
