Although we thougt that most of Ernst work would be in the “big “ musea all over theworld ,we were surprised by the amount of original work. All the periods of his life are there. Intersting to see how all thise surrealists influenced one another

Came here with a friend again after many years adn thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The house itself has been converted intelligently and you get an excellent overview of the artist's work. A nice place to sit outside with a coffee afterwards.

I had heard of Max Ernst and I had read about him but it was the first time I saw his art live. Terrific, inventive, superbe! I also enjoyed the exhibition by Jaume Plensa. I had never seen anything like this before. Absolutely a must!

So of course: Five Stars! Quite a range of his work here, including some work quite different from that I'd seen before, and I've seen hundreds of his pieces.
