The Kalika Temple is located at a distance of 5 km from the Ranikhet city & famous for the panoramic view of the wide range of snow-capped Himalaya peaks.

Best place to visit in Ranikhet. Kalika ji Temple is about 8-10 km from Main Ranikhet Stand.
Kalika ji Temple is one of the ancient Temples in Uttarakhand. Located near Golf Ground (Asia's biggest Natural Golf Ground, it is not man made.)

Make sure that you dont interact with people/pujari in this temple. Very bad experience. They are there to make living out of you & would go to any extent doing that.
If you have elders with difficulty in climbing stairs at home, clearly avoid this place.

The temple is about a kilometre from the golf ground. There are steps leading to this temple though thankfully not too many. You can spend some peaceful time at this temple

The temple is less than 1-2 KM from the golf course grounds and an old abode for Lord Kali. The temple is accessible through some 40-50 steps which is not really a challenge to climb. The temple is very old but yet well managed. You may also a get a sneak peak to the himalayas if the weather is clear. Overall a nice place to stop by if you are visiting golf grounds.

Kalika temple is centuries old temple and have rich history, however i must say that temple is being run by a pujari, who is arrogant, rude and greedy, Also use abusive language.

This one is again a popular locally and very old temple..with a story attached to it..This is on way to Ranikhet road from Almora. And has small but wide stairs uphill( less than 50 m). There were monkeys all around and can be a problem if you carrying some food items... photography not allowed.
