Kalika temple is located around 1 km away from Golf Ground and 6 km away from the city. It is situated on mountains amidst beautiful natural view with around 50 plus steps, not much challenge to visit. The temple premises is reasonably maintained, the priests at times may be demanding, hence controlled interaction is recommended. Ma Kalika is the reigning deity and devotees visit the temple for blessing.

The Kalika Temple is located at a distance of 5 km from the Ranikhet city & famous for the panoramic view of the wide range of snow-capped Himalaya peaks.

Pretty close to the Golf Course, the temple is a a little trek up on the hill. The temple is managed by a foul mouthed priest, his even-more foul mouthed wife and their violent son. Beware of them as if you refuse to pay a 'donation', they will start abusing you, threatening you and may actually throw stones at you as you descend the steps.
Wonder how can such people be priests?

Kalika Devi Temple is near Golf Ground in Ranikhet. you have to take few steps to reach this temple.
There is also a very small temple on the way but simply avoid it and if at all head straight to the actual temple.
This temple is being run by a pujari and his family who is rude and greedy.
I will avoid this temple on my next visit
Infact i saw a small snake while going to the temple near where we take out our shoes so it was a little bit scary

Best place to visit in Ranikhet. Kalika ji Temple is about 8-10 km from Main Ranikhet Stand.
Kalika ji Temple is one of the ancient Temples in Uttarakhand. Located near Golf Ground (Asia's biggest Natural Golf Ground, it is not man made.)

Make sure that you dont interact with people/pujari in this temple. Very bad experience. They are there to make living out of you & would go to any extent doing that.
If you have elders with difficulty in climbing stairs at home, clearly avoid this place.

The temple is about a kilometre from the golf ground. There are steps leading to this temple though thankfully not too many. You can spend some peaceful time at this temple
