Beautiful temple, well maintained by Indian Army. Peaceful environment to offer prayers.

Also there is Gurudwara near this temple. One of the must visit places in Ranikhet.

Mankameshwar Temple is a notable attraction of Ranikhet, the temple has been built by Kumaon Regiment. It is located in front of Gurudwara and Shawl Factory. Inside the temple, one can see the idols of Radha-Krishna, Ma Kalika and Lord Shiva. When we visited, the temple was almost empty, the ambience was peaceful and serene. The entire temple premises was well maintained.

Not more than just a tick in your to do list
Its a ashram of local saints which have become famous as tourist attraction.
Not much scenic or architectural beauty here.
Just some history associated

The temple comes on the way to golf course ground. Peaceful & divine. In cantonment area. 10-15 min is worth to spend here. Some called it manila mandir. Don't know for sure.

this temple is under the care of Indian army & is opposite the gurudwara & KRC weaving unit.
it is surrounded by well maintained lawns.
PHOTOGRAPHY is prohibited.
the presiding diety is Goddess Kali.
it also houses a small Ganesha temple .
