Am sure while this place can take us back into history as Rani of Jhansi used to stay here and address people; but the place is run down and nothing worthwhile is left. Not maintained. Very unfortunate. Visit only if want to and have time

The Rani Mahal, Jhansi was actually the palace of Lakshmi Bai. The Palace has now been refurbished into a museum that has carefully treasured the remnants of history and also the little artifacts that belonged to the period of Rani Lakshmi Bai.

Really good collection of many ancient Indian artefacts and idols and to witness where Rani Laxmi Bai had lived once to understand our culture and society at that time in India.

After the death of Raja Gangadhar Rao, Laxmibai was forced to retire to this palace by the British and vacate The jhansi fort. It's a beautiful palace with gorgeously painted rooms. Today it's used as a museum by The ASI & there are some exquisite...More

Though history is depicted really, entire place needs a face lift to make it a good tourist attraction. Visit if time permits.
