This is in the city only. Jhansi is a small City and you can cover while walking. This Museum is so good and well maintained.

Being a history lover and a resident of most important city in history is an honour. The museum is mostly dedicated to the brave woman 'The Brave Queen of Jhansi' and is must visit place for the history lovers.

Visit it only if you have some time to kill. It beats me why the Government museum has two dinosaurs at the entrance. Like all other places in Jhansi, it's badly maintained, and not for lack of funds I believe. It's just no one cares....More

Nice collection, big museum, display is also ok. But museum artefacts need bit more care and may some restoration.

A museum which you remember the bravery of Rani Laxmi Bai. All the things in this museum is related to Jhansi and Laxmi Bai and about 1857 fighting.. As a person who interested in history or heritage must visit this place...

Government museum is really close to Jhansi fort. It has several old artifacts though can be visited if time permits. Also make sure to check operation hours since it closes really early.

After viewing Jhansi Fort, when going to Jhansi Railway Station, see Government Museum Jhansi. The museum have several gallery. One coin gallery is there. Some weapons during Indian freedom movement are here. The museum has the history about Jhansi and Rani Laxmibai. Paintings of Rani...More

Not much to offer going by the fact that it's an old station. Same old coins and paintings. Sculptures nobody is interested in. Probably the only up point is the weapons and photographs on display.
