Good Place

Very good Place and near from Gurgaon. Good for 1 Day outing. Architecture and Ambience are very good but not maintained properly. Need more attention on cleanliness.

We were here on the Holi weekend, and after having read some of the reviews, we were double-minded about visiting. However, having read that the place afforded some spectacular views of Alwar city, we decided to give it a go. The entry to the road leading to Bala Quila is through a gate manned by the Forest department, as the... More

I had randomly paid a visit to this fort and it turned out to be very disappointing. Car charges are Rs 50 and Rs 10 per person. There's absolutely no maintenance. It is dirty and disgraceful.

recently visited Bala quila with family and friends, after doing a research on google about which places can be visited from Delhi for a one day trip. I was impressed by the history of the fort but on visit i was disappointed to find that the fort is really small, and not so well maintained, only a part was open... More

Such a waste of our time to see this fort. It's quite a drive to get there ( the drive is beautiful though. Saw many peacocks in the reserve) but what a disappointment when you get there. The fort is not well maintained & most of the rooms are closed to public. Don't know what they charge an entrance fee... More

After reading some of the reviews of people who say that this place can be missed, I thought I should write a review. Bala Quila is a magnificent relic of a thousand year old past. It sits on top of a Aravali hill and has a strategic view of not just Alwar city, but of the beauty of the Aravali... More

Ok for a vist. Nothing much to see but the drive there is good. The place is not well maintained with grafitti on the walls. Rajasthan tourism could do with maintaining the place.

I recently went here with a friend. I had to pay entrance charges of Rs 70 (visitor + car). When we entered, the ground floor was not maintained at all. The whole place was very smelly. Most of the rooms were locked. The ones which were not were very dark, smelly. The above 2 floors were under renovation and no... More

One of the many attractions around Alwar, this is a beautiful fort having multi-level security system. The passage to the fort on hilltop may show a lot of peacocks, neelgai, and other animals. Panoramic view from the top of the fort is mesmerizing
