Universal Peace Hall of the Brahma Kumaris, located in Mount Abu is an attractive palatial structure painted in serene white. The hall has a seating capacity for 5000 persons. This is an important centre of the Brahma Kumaris where thousands of visitors visit daily. A member of the Brahma Kumaris takes you around the place in groups followed by a short interactive session on the values and stress in ones lives. They also guide and answer questions on how to deal with stress and importance of meditation for relaxation, concentration and spirituality for ones well being. The members of Brahma Kumaris are extremely polite and courteous.
This place is also an important centre in the teaching of Raj Yoga meditation. Books on spirituality, meditation etc. are also kept on sale at this place. Conferences, workshops, course, seminars etc. on spirituality, meditation etc. are taking place here round the year.
Worth a visit that makes you introspect on your values, karma and the wheel of life !!
Om Shanti !

Destination to look for if you need time for yourself and want to move away from the material world. If you are looking for some time to spend with those who are thinking away from the money matters and looking for inner peace - this may be the perfect place.

One must visit this place if he or she is interestd in meditation. At no cost, you will be given a guided tour by Brahmakumari's functionaries and they will explain you their purpose, focus on spirituality etc. in the 2000+ capacity hall.

You dont get an opportunity to meditate if you are not a member here. A person named "nandan" bhai at "shanti Bhavan" in Abu told you to leave in half an hour even though i came with my family from delhi just to visit brahma kumaris Shanti Bhawan. This person nandan bhai must be in his late 80's , seems pretty frustrated but such people should not be representatives of brahmakumaris.

Nothing to write home about except being part of a discourse on the tour and chance for meditation for introspection and setting yourself on the path to discovering yourself

It is opposite Pandav bhavan, the headquarters of Bramha Kumari's. Large meditation hall is impressive and has very high vibrations.

It's a huge Hall with seating capacity of 20,000 people. That's it. No need to travel up all the stairs to see a hall, it's not disappointing though.
