This is not a very popular and crowded place. We visited based on suggestion by our hotel manager.
Half of our group members weren't ready to visit but we convinced them and they were delighted that they made the right decision.
It's a jungle safari where you can drive your own car upto a distance and then walk from there.
The lake where crocodiles live is so beautiful. You can at least spend 2-4 hours easily enjoying the mother nature.
One can hire a guide for some 600 bucks and go tracking for 4-5 hours. This place is heaven for photo holics.
We paid entry fees of 440 for a car and 4 people.
It's a must visit place for nature lovers!

we took the car all the way inside but 3 people walked all the way. right in the middle of the jungle and suddenly you see a huge lake surrounded by mountains. we were luck enough to spot the crocodiles in the lake. kids enjoyed feeding the fishes.

If you charge people so much, then least you could do is have proper infrastructure in place! This place lacks it big time! Entrance is around 1KM from Trevor Tank, hence we took out taxi inside! But alas one of the worst decision we ever made was to come to this place! It looks like there is road on pot holes rather than other way around! After going inside via the roller coaster road ride, we reached Trevor tank, which is nothing but a reservoir of water for animals to come and have a drink in the evening (when its closed for public)... We did manage to see couple of crocodiles sleeping, but that's about it... It depends upon you if you want to go there, but I would recommend, until they make the infra proper, skip it!

Trevor’s tank a small dammed lake in the heart of Mt Abu Wild Life Sanctuary , named after the British Colonel G H Trvor of Rajputana Rifles , constructed by Maharaj Kesarisinh Bahadur of Sirohi in 1897 , was visited by us immediately after we left Dilwara temples as the entrance to this tank was just on the left on Gurushikhar road .
The road was through very dense forest . We were fortunate to observe Black lored tits , Chestnut shouldered Petronias , a Common hawk cuckoo , an Eurasian blackbird , Eurasian collared & spotted doves , Flowerpeckers , a Grey junglefowl , Minivets , an Oriental honey buzzard , Oriental turtle doves , Oriental white eyes , Red rumped swallows , Red spurfowls and White spotted fantails . Most of these birds were very busy in their daily chorus in a small clearing on the right 200 m away from the entrance . We were blessed by an Asian palm civet .
We saw about 40 chicks of crocodile along with 5 adults near the bank of the tank .
This was a paradise for an avid birdwatcher like me .

I found it to be the most serene and relaxing. Trevor’s tank is 5 Km from Mount Abu and a photographer’s delight and a popular picnic destination. It’s also called the Trevor’s crocodile park because it’s named after the British engineer who built this and this tank was used to breed crocodiles.

This is best place to visit in mount Abu. We spotted two crocodiles sun bathing in the afternoon. Small lake has large fishes swimming around. You can climb over large rock in the left side of the lake to get an awesome view of mount abu and the lake and the Crocs. We also heard growling of some wild animal and we ran :-p. This place is an ultimate destination for nature lovers. Beware; wild animals such as leopard, bear, cheetah come to the lake to drink water in the evening.

The most amazing place in Mt. Abu. Going to this place itself so much fun and adventure..
This place is very clam & quite and this is the best place in Mt. Abu according to me.
This place is basically for nature lovers, there is a small lake having crocodiles in it and if you are lucky enough (in the summers) you can see a panther or a bear also. Original name of this place is Trevors Tal. It was built in the memory of Col. Trevor (than the agent of the governor of rajasthan around 1897)
You can spend hours here enjoying the nature.
