One of the most amazing temples I have seen

The only disappointment was I couldn't capture the amazing internals of the temple on my camera. You must check in all mobiles, cameras and electronic devices :(.

This was our best visit at Mount Abu, We had visited it in the morning, The DILWADA Jain temple is well known for its interior sculptures and designs of gods since ages .. it is really a great art of work and the best designs that can be viewed, We spent some time and enjoyed peace of the spot.

While entering we had to deposit camera and mobile phones, as such no photo could be taken. I think it is one of the Wonders of India, as the stone curving inside the temple are unparallel. Specially the hanging central hall curving which is 5ft dia and almost 4 ft heigh hanging at the centre of the roof has stone... More

If you are in Mt Abu, its a must place to visit. The carving on the stones is wonderful. I kept wondering how they built such a great temple at the time when there were no big machines to lift the material up on them mountain.

The guides over there take you around showing the temple and narrate the history too. The temples carvings are a masterpiece.

The Temple is famous for its architecture and the way it is build. There are five different temples, each having statue of Bhagvan Mahavir made of different metals and different colors. The staff of the temple provide guided tour of the temple & explain it's history at regular intervals. No photography & mobiles allowed inside along with some other items.... More

I must say I have never seen such a beautiful sculpture and architecture. The temple's representative will guide you through all the 5 temple's and show you all the beautiful structures and tell you all the story behind the construction. But the sad part is that you can't click any photographs as camera is not allowed inside the temple.

I was not happy to note that photography is not allowed. Generally long queue to pay a visit inside. Also one is not allowed at the upper floors of the temple. Amazing sculpture to see there. Wish I could capture it in my camera.
