Gorgeous, something rare, and the employees are the best on the island, they know how to make themselves liked, naturally enjoyable, have jokes to them all the time and explain the history of the cave very beautiful and so everyone's understanding! PS: Do not forget...More

Looked forward to this as I'd seen photos of it before. Had to wait in queue for about 20 minutes but well worth it!! A bit smaller than I thought it would be but absolutely spectacular from the crystal clear water to the actual cave...More

We arrived by car late afternoon and parking is free. We did not have to wait long to get on one of the boats which takes you across the cave and back. The water is an irridescent blue and this is a worthwhile attraction.

An unusual and interesting flooded 'cave' with a collapsed roof. Fascinating that the seawater content comes underground from sinkholes near Argostoli. Worth the visit for the experience of being rowed, greek style, around the cave.

This lake visit was out of the world experience not to be missed. You walk down a small man made cave down to the lake where you take a boat ride. Three person rowing the boat is your guide as well and is very informative...More

Worth seeing if you are nearby. C10 min boat ride to see the cave. We were lucky to be the first visitors so the lake was beautifully reflected as we walked down the tunnel. Quick trip as long as there aren't any queues, open 10...More

There's a slope down to the boats and you'll need to hold them tight getting on and off the boat, but yes I'd say the experience is toddler friendly.

The cave is on kefalonia one of the ionian islands, nowhere near mykonos or santorini, you would need to fly into kefalonia or get a boat from athens which i think takes 6 hours. Also there is relatively no public transport... More
