A must visit museum of mining history in Canada. The tour of the mine also enhanced what the mining industry was about. Definitely recommend as a stop on the way to Whistler.

We visited the museum while staying in Britannia beach on vacation. It was pouring out so we thought it would be a good rainy day activity, and it sure didn't disappoint! They have put much detail and thought into the museum and we could spend...More

Ideal for family fun! Lots of things to do for everyone! Don't miss the movie about the history of the mine and the train! Our guide, Marsh, was really interesting!

After driving by for years finally decided to stop. The mine museum is quite good and the train ride into the mine is very interesting. Well worth it. There lots of great exhibits to see so don't rush.

Try to go earlier and get the 1st train at 10am,Allow at least 2 to 3 hours to view the exhibits and to take the underground train ( about 50 minutes ). This is educational for both kids and adults.
