Loved this viewpoint. Excellent stop and has bathrooms. Not a ton of parking so hopefully go early in the day during busy times.

Stegastein is on one of the 18 "Norges Nasjonale Turistveger". That is road 243, Aurlandsfjellet" from Lærdal to Aurland, and it is closed to 1. th June, due to lot of snow. But the road is always open to Stegastein from the Aurland side. From...More

The best view of Aurland & the fjord near Flam, unbelievable but is free. Almost impossible to get there without a car. There are WC there but no stores around the area, great place to see the sunset
