Vino Lovrec was at Špancirfest in Varaždin. They had position in “Wine town”. Their wine was really great. We enjoyed every sip. Their Sauvignon and Viteško (Kinght wine) was excellent.

The Lovrec vinery is located in a beautiful and pristine part of Croatia. We visited them with our guests from Germany; first we took a tour throughout excellent ethnographic collection guided by Jasna Lovrec in perfect German language. The collection tells story about wine production...More

We visited Vino Lovrec in the fall on a whim after some hasty googling and a few email exchanges with the (very helpful) family. This winery will appeal to anyone who likes museums - the family has a lot of relics from WWI and WWII...More

1. My husband and I were road-tripping from Vienna, through slovenia, croatia and slovakia. On our way to Bratislava, we detoured through Medimurje, so glad we did. Vino Lovrec is off the beaten path, very few tourists, and its a beautiful drive on the countryside....More

One of the oldest and most beautiful wineries in Medjimurje. Almost a museum, the family-driven economy offers to the guests a bit of history, a lot of hospitality and great wines.

We had called a day ahead to ask for an English guided tour and wine tasting, went perfect! The tour was good and the wine even better! We bought four bottles so we can enjoy it later at home

Highly recommended. It includeded tour throughout vinyard, small familly museum and tasting of 8 wine variates, all accompanied by interesting comments. Jasna is a great host and we felt very comfortable. Two hours we had spent there past very quickly.

No better stop to taste fantastic wines in this north-Croatian country side. Although we did a spontaneous stop without reservation, Jana was super friendly and shared her tremendous knowledge of wine-culture, not only linked to this property, but 'world wide' and with great history details.
